I am a sociologist. I work in a Maasai community next to the Tanzania border. For more than ten years, the climate change effect started to be seen. My approach is meeting with the community. I spread awareness on reducing tree destruction, fencing our water sources, and planting more trees. I visit with community members on distrusted forest and water sources. I developed an interest after attending workshops on climate change. The reality is that climate change is really a problem for us and it has negative effects on farmers. We now have less rains, and even diseases are increasing.
